DFIC will be having it's Fall Church Revival from 25-28 September and the theme is "The Crosses of Calvary". This is going to be an awesome event as the Lord leads us to Calvary and reveals to us the power of the Cross and the blood that was shed upon it for each of us.
Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm we will be blessed with the presence of Pastor Tyrome
Myatt, Pastor of the Camp Red Cloud, Church Of God In Christ Service,
located in UiJeongbu, Republic of Korea.
Friday Evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm we will once again be blessed with the presence of my close
and long time friend Pastor Don Bornowski, Pastor of the Songtan Victory
Christian Fellowship Church in Songtan, Republic of Korea.
Saturday Evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, and Sunday Morning from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm the Message will be brought by Pastor Golden Pastor of DFIC.
I know that the Lord is going to use this special event and time to reignite
many hearts and to start a fire within the Daegu Faith International Church
and the community around it. So I pray that you will come and join us and be a part of this revival here in Daegu, South Korea.

Everyone,
This Saturday we will be going to Betany Children’s home for our monthly visit. We will meet at the church at 2:00 pm and depart about 2:10 for the Home. If you want to join us be at the church at 2:00 pm. Many may wonder sometimes how important our visit to the Home is well let me give you an example. Last night my wife called me saying that the children at the Home had been invited to go to the beach this Saturday so we may not be going to Betany so I said Ok I will let everyone know, then she called again about 30 minutes later and said that the kids turned down the beach party because they said they would rather spend the afternoon with us, rather than go to the beach. We do have an impact on these young people’s lives so I pray that you will join us this Saturday and spend some time enjoying the fun, food and fellowship that we have with them.
Also church work has been moved to Saturday the 30th of this month so we can all assist in cleaning the church since Mrs Kim our custodian will be on leave this Saturday. So come and join us in beautifying God’s house and our Church. We will start at 0900 and hopefully finish by 1:00 pm.
Sunday the 31st we will be having our Baptismal Sunday so if you need to be baptized please get with the Pastor and let him Know.
September 25-28 we will be having our Revival so we need to start preparing now through our prayers that the Lord will make this event one that will Glorify him in many ways. That hearts and souls will be redeemed by the Holy Spirit and that through this revival many will rededicate their lives to the service of the Lord or will find the Lord as their savior and seek to serve Him. Looking at setting up a 72 hour prayer vigil 17-20 September but need to know who can help support this before I commit to it. So please let me know if you can support the prayer vigil by replying back to this email.
Short Devotional:
When I was a little girl, I loved to play church with my friends. We would line chairs up in rows and pull out a cardboard box we used for the pulpit. Then the great debate began over who would preach and who would sing. The more aggressive kids wanted the up-front jobs while the quiet ones were happy to just sit and watch the “show”. Sometimes one of the kids would pretend to be the Holy Ghost walking around the chairs saying “Boo!” If the leaders did a good job, we would play church for hours. However, if they were not entertaining enough, the kids in the chairs would soon get bored and go in search of more exciting recreation in the front yard. All in all, playing the church game was great fun and a delightful way to pass an afternoon.
Playing church is, however, a pathetic and meaningless way to pass a lifetime.
Every Sunday, churches are filled with those who are simply “playing” games with God. They line up in rows to watch the “show”. If it is good enough, they stay and even come back occasionally. However, if it is not entertaining, they will drift off to play some other game in life.
We were created to worship God! Until we recognize that spiritual principle and learn how to practice true worship, we will never be completely satisfied. Only the presence of God can fill the emptiness of a soul. True worship invites Him to fill that emptiness with Himself. In fact, we were made to worship Him. Few of us understand the importance or the life-changing power of worship.
