| · What is the difference between Daegu and Taegu, and why are there two names?
Daegu and Taegu refer to the same place. Daegu is a Korean word that was once romanized as 'Taegu', but many Koreans feel that 'Daegu' is a closer approximation to the correct pronunciation. Recently, the official English spelling changed from Taegu to Daegu. Had they not done that, we might have been known as Taegu Faith International Church, because we are a church in Taegu :) Back to top
